Globalheart Leadership College is excited to offer the following subjects in 2026!

Old Testament Foundations

It’s our origin story. It’s the first instance of God revealing Himself to humanity. It points forward to Jesus, and it provides glimpses of the Holy Spirit at work. To understand who we are today, we need to go back to the beginning. Our salvation story is framed by the people and promises that are found in the OT. This book is rich with the Truth of our unbreakable covenant with Yahweh. We pray this course will lead you into a greater understanding of God’s relevant and unfolding plan for His people.

Personal Leadership

Jesus is the greatest example of leadership. He modelled a style of leadership that prioritised the needs and well-being of others. He did not seek recognition, and in all things He did the will of the Father. When it comes to leadership, we often think of leading others. And yet the first person, and often the hardest person, we must learn to lead is ourselves.

This unit will cover several areas of personal leadership that if we commit to develop, it will open the way for us to lead others well. Some of the skills we will cover are Wisdom and Decision Making, Emotional Intelligence, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Time Management, Self Discipline and Communication.

Faith and Purpose

There is a great spiritual battle raging for the hearts and minds of men and women around the globe, a cosmic struggle between Truth and a morally indifferent culture. Thus we need a Christian worldview, grounded in the redemptive work of Christ and the grandeur of God, that gives us a sense of God’s plan and purpose for this world. Our worldview shapes our identity. It provides a framework for ethical thinking. This unit offers students the opportunity to discuss the applications of a Christian Worldview to different areas of our lives.

Pastoral Ministry

Today’s world faces a lot of challenges. Family and relationship turmoil, injustices, increased isolation and loneliness, a lack of community, and overall division. Social media, the pandemic, heightened political divisions and increased violence have all contributed to these issues. This subject aims to equip you with the skills to care for people spiritually, emotionally and physically, and to walk alongside them in their Christian formation.

New Testament Foundations

As 21st Century Christians living in Australia, it is easy for us to read and interpret the New Testament through a modern, comfortable, individualistic lens. We forget that our world is so distant to the world in which the NT was written. The language, the culture, the geography are just not the same! Yet, we can be so quick to rip a passage out of its context to make it suit our own.
Therefore, in this unit, we will look at each book of the New Testament—its historical contexts, main arguments, themes, and theological emphases. Only then can we see how these books can become relevant and applicable to our lives today.

Character Formation

The essence of this unit is to become like Christ. Developing habits that help form character in us through the power of the Holy Spirit. Maybe you long for a more intimate prayer life or deeper insight from God's Word but just don't know how to get there. While the word discipline may make us want to run and hide, this unit shows how desires and discipline work together to lead us to the transformation we're longing for, the transformation only Christ can bring. Instead of just giving information about spiritual disciplines, this unit is full of practical, accessible guidance that helps you actually practice them.

Preaching

Every follower of Jesus is called to preach the gospel to their world. In this unit we will cover topics including Hermeneutics (how to interpret Biblical literature), how to communicate to different audiences, how to exegete the Word of God, how to construct a sermon, and discuss anointing vs gifting. Students will also have lots of opportunities to put what they are learning into practice. This unit will equip you for public speaking and communication in any context.

The Holy Spirit

As followers of Jesus, we are called to lead an exciting, impactful life, empowered by God’s Holy Spirit. This unit explores the answers to questions like: Who is the Holy Spirit? What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit and are they available to me? How can I exercise Holy Spirit gifts to grow in my relationship with God and reach other people with the message of His love? What does it mean to be a Pentecostal Christian?

Chapel

At Globalheart Leadership College we love to start our day with Chapel.

On Tuesday, Chapel’s are a time for spending time in God’s presence, journalling, sharing what God is saying to us, and worshipping God together.

On Wednesdays we start the day with worship and then we have the privilege of hearing from one of our  Pastor’s or key leaders as they share from God’s Word.

Chapel is a beautiful time of prayer, learning to hear from God, and how to minister to others.

Practical Placement

Character growth is a huge part of the College experience, and the majority of that happens through taking part in a practical placement in your local church.

Students will be assigned a Mentor for the duration of their time at College, and will have the opportunity to help in a variety of areas to build God’s house.

With a focus on servant leadership, godly character, and attention to detail and excellence, the habits you learn will help you to excel in any field or job.
