Chaplaincy

10036NAT Diploma of Ministry (Chaplaincy) is a nationally accredited qualification designed for those wanting to be equipped to care for people in our community. Be moved with compassion to action as you are given the opportunity to make a difference in peoples lives and transformed as you gain greater understanding of yourself and those around you.

This course is also aimed at leaders who want to raise up, care for and influence a new generation of chaplains. Subjects include grief & loss support, providing pastoral supervision, effective communication and understanding the theology of chaplaincy practice.

By completing this course through Globalheart Leadership College you will be part of a dynamic college community. Attending classes, chapel and having your practical placement split between Chaplaincy and the local church.

Students will complete core units on site at Globalheart Leadership College and complete the electives as intensives. Intensives for elective units are usually held 8.30am - 5.00pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday.

Prerequisites for this course are a Certificate IV in Ministry or Diploma in Leadership. The Diploma of Ministry (Chaplaincy) is run over an 18 month period. (3 Semesters)

Austudy, Abstudy and Youth Allowance are available for some units this course and VET FEE-HELP is available for eligible Australian citizens.

The Diploma of Ministry (Chaplaincy) runs over three semesters.
